Indoor Air Quality Experts
Your Air May Be Circulating More Than You Think
Even after cleaning your ducts, airborne contaminants like mold spores, bacteria, and allergens continue to circulate through your home every time your HVAC system runs.
Airborne Contaminants
Bacteria, viruses, and mold spores circulating through your air
Allergy & Respiratory Issues
Triggers for asthma, coughing, and irritation
Odors & Stale Air
Persistent smells caused by microbial growth
Hidden HVAC Buildup
Moisture inside your system creates the perfect environment for mold
Stop Contaminants at the Source — Not Just in the Air
Whole home air purification systems use UV-C light installed inside your HVAC system to neutralize harmful microorganisms before they circulate through your home.
As air passes through your system, the UV light disrupts the DNA of mold, bacteria, and viruses, preventing them from reproducing or causing harm.
Unlike standard filters that only trap particles, UV purification actively neutralizes contaminants at the source.
Two Types of Protection:
- Coil sterilization (prevents mold growth at the source)
- Air purification (treats air as it circulates)
Why Act Now
Cleaner Air. Healthier Home. Better Performance.
Over time, moisture and debris inside your HVAC system create an environment where mold and bacteria thrive. UV purification continuously targets these contaminants, helping protect your air and your system.
- Kills Mold & Bacteria
- Improves Air Quality
- Helps With Allergies & Breathing
- Eliminates Odors
- Boosts HVAC Efficiency

Whole Home Air Purification in Lehi
The Lehi Picture
Lehi households deal with Utah County inversions, ongoing construction dust from continuing development, and in many cases a new, tightly sealed home that holds onto everything indoors. Whole home purification treats all three from the HVAC instead of one room at a time.
Air quality in Lehi is shaped by how fast the city has grown. Development has been continuous for years, so most neighborhoods have had earthmoving, framing, or road work within a short distance, and that dust travels and gets indoors. At the same time the newer homes on the Traverse Mountain benches and across the former farmland are built tight, so once dust is inside there is little natural air exchange to remove it. Add Utah County's winter inversions and seasonal pollen, and it adds up to a real load in homes that feel like they should be clean.
Matching the system to Lehi's air
Lehi's air problems change with the season. In winter, inversions trap fine particles over Utah Valley. Utah DEQ notes that PM2.5 is small enough to reach the lungs and bloodstream. In summer and early fall, the concern shifts. The air is dry, homes are closed up for air conditioning, and indoor dust and odors build.
A whole-home system works through the HVAC, so it treats every room the furnace or air conditioner reaches. We size it to the blower and duct system you already have rather than adding equipment that strains the airflow.
A higher-efficiency filter catches more fine particles, but it can also restrict airflow if the blower and filter cabinet weren't built for it. That's why we look at the equipment before we recommend a filter grade. For time outdoors on bad air days, DEQ notes that N95 and KN95 masks filter PM2.5 when worn correctly. Indoors, that job falls to your HVAC filter.
What a whole-home system can and can't do
Our systems combine filtration with UV-C in the HVAC. Filtration captures particles as air passes through. UV-C treats the coil and the air moving past it, which helps keep the coil from becoming a place where microbial growth collects.
What a system can't do is make indoor air cleaner than the air you let in without filtering it, or fix a moisture problem. The EPA recommends keeping indoor relative humidity below 60 percent, ideally 30 to 50 percent. Lehi's climate is dry, but basements and bathrooms can still run high. If we see a humidity issue, we'll point it out, because a purifier won't solve it.
Townhomes, rentals, and smaller systems
Roughly a quarter of Lehi households rent, and about 12 percent of homes are townhomes. Many of these have compact air handlers in a closet or garage. We check the cabinet size and filter slot before recommending anything. In some units, a better media filter is the right answer and a full system isn't needed. For renters, the landlord or HOA usually has to approve any change to the HVAC, and we're glad to talk with them directly.
We'll explain what we'd install, why, and what maintenance it needs, such as filter changes and UV lamp replacement. If the simpler option fits your home, that's what we'll recommend.
FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Does construction dust around Lehi actually reach inside my home?
It does. With development continuing across Lehi, earthmoving and framing within a short distance produces fine dust that travels and enters through the ordinary gaps every building has. In a tightly sealed newer home, once that dust is inside there is very little natural air exchange to remove it, so it stays in circulation until something filters it out.
Is purification worth it in a brand-new Lehi home?
Often yes, and for a reason specific to new construction. Fresh finishes, flooring, cabinetry, and furnishings off-gas for a considerable period after move-in, and a tightly built home holds those emissions rather than exchanging them out. Add construction dust from continuing nearby development and inversion particulate, and continuous whole-house filtration addresses more in a new home than people generally expect.
What affects the cost of a whole-home purification system in Lehi?
The size and type of your HVAC equipment matters most. A large Lehi home with two systems needs two installations, while a townhome with a compact air handler may only fit certain filters. The filter cabinet, available space near the coil, and electrical access for UV-C also play a part. Ongoing costs include replacement filters and UV lamps.
When should I install an air purification system in Lehi?
Before the heating season is ideal. Utah's seasonal wood-burning restrictions start November 1, and the furnace runs most during the winter inversion months. Installing in early fall means the system is working when the windows stay shut. If summer is your problem season, spring installation works just as well.
Will insurance or a home warranty pay for an air purifier in Utah?
Usually not. Air purification is generally treated as an upgrade, not a repair, so homeowners insurance rarely covers it. Some home warranties cover parts of the HVAC system but exclude add-on equipment. If a doctor has recommended air cleaning, ask whether any health spending account applies. Check your policy or plan documents for specifics.
Does Utah Lake's algae affect air quality in Lehi homes?
The Utah County Health Department warns that people can be irritated by inhaling or touching harmful algal blooms on the lake, mostly from summer to early fall. That risk is mainly on and near the water. We don't claim a purifier protects against blooms. If you spend time at the lake, follow the county's advisories and keep pets away from shoreline scum.
I rent in Lehi. Can I get whole-home purification?
Possibly, with your landlord's approval. Any change to the furnace or air handler belongs to the property owner, and townhome HOAs may have rules too. We can assess the system and send the owner a written recommendation. If a full system isn't approved, a portable HEPA unit for bedrooms is a reasonable option you control.
Will a purifier help my family on bad inversion days in Lehi?
Good filtration can lower the fine particles that leak into a home from outside. It won't make indoor air perfect, and we don't promise health results. Keep doors and windows closed on red air days, change filters on schedule, and check the Utah Air app from DEQ for daily forecasts and alerts.
